Act 533 Carrier Discounts

Under Act 533, select carriers offer premium discounts for FORTIFIED homes, up to the following levels: Liberty Mutual and Safeco up to 40 percent, USAA up to 37 percent, State Farm up to 35 percent, Allstate up to 30 percent. Regulation 136 Mandatory Benchmark

Separately, Louisiana Regulation 136 sets a mandatory discount on the hurricane portion of the premium for a base FORTIFIED Roof, within a statewide range of 16 to 49 percent, for policies issued or renewed on or after January 1, 2027.
