Roof Maxx is a USDA-certified bio-oil treatment that restores flexibility to aging asphalt shingles and adds up to 15 years of roof life for approximately 20 to 25 percent of total replacement cost including all prep work.
What is a FORTIFIED roof?
FORTIFIED is an IBHS construction standard engineered to survive high wind. Only a FORTIFIED roof, verified by an independent Evaluator, earns Louisiana's insurance discounts.
What money programs can I use?
Louisiana homeowners can stack three money programs on a FORTIFIED roof: the Louisiana Fortify Homes Program grant of up to 10,000 dollars when a lottery round is open, the Act 404 state income tax credit of up to 10,000 dollars, and Act 533 insurance premium discounts of up to 40 percent with select carriers: Liberty Mutual and Safeco up to 40 percent, USAA up to 37 percent, State Farm up to 35 percent, Allstate up to 30 percent. Louisiana Regulation 136 adds a separate mandatory discount on the hurricane portion of the premium for policies issued on or after January 1, 2027.
