The 2026 Lafayette FORTIFIED Roof Grant

Lafayette Parish homeowners can qualify for up to 10,000 dollars toward a FORTIFIED roof through the Louisiana Fortify Homes Program. Lafayette was included in the most recent eligible parish list.

How to Qualify

Primary residence with a homestead exemption, active wind and hail coverage, and flood coverage if in a FEMA Special Flood Hazard Area. Selection is by lottery, not first-come. Do not sign with a contractor before approval.
